What you will do
- Lead ASC 606 compliance and provide definitive technical guidance on complex SaaS arrangements, including usage-based and bundled offerings.
- Design and implement scalable, standardized revenue accounting processes to ensure predictability and audit-ready outcomes.
- Build and oversee revenue analytics capabilities to deliver actionable insights for FP&A, Sales Operations, and executives.
- Champion the adoption of AI and automation tools to improve the speed and accuracy of revenue accounting workflows.
- Act as a strategic finance advisor to the CRO and other senior leaders on pre-execution deal structuring and commercial arrangements.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing revenue accounting team, establishing clear career pathways.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
- 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant leadership in a SaaS or technology company.
- Deep technical expertise in ASC 606 and SaaS revenue models.
- Proven track record of managing external audits to clean and timely completion.
- Proficiency with ERP systems; NetSuite and SuiteBilling strongly preferred.
- Must be based in the United States.

- Familiarity with BI or data visualization tools.
- Practical experience applying AI and automation tools to finance and accounting processes.
