Sales Engineer – Eastern Canada (Cybersecurity): Serve as primary technical resource driving technical wins across commercial, enterprise, and public sector accounts with an accent on solution leadership, RFP responses, and proof-of-value demonstrations. Focus on architecting resilient cybersecurity solutions, strategic collaboration with sales teams, and technical account management for Canadian government entities.

Location: Remote (#LI-Remote), must currently reside in Canada (Eastern Canada: Ottawa/Kanata, Montreal).

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery sessions, qualify requirements, and develop tailored use cases for cybersecurity solutions.
• Own technical responses for RFIs/RFPs, coordinating virtual teams for winning bids.
• Manage Proof of Value (POV) engagements from start to successful completion.
• Collaborate with sales directors to refine strategies, build pipeline, and establish regional best practices.
• Maintain proactive relationships with target accounts, monitor health, and handle competitive displacements.
• Mentor junior SEs, provide feedback to product management, and support beta programs/executive briefings.

Requirements

• Professional fluency in both English and French to support diverse Canadian clients.
• Must currently reside in Canada.
• 3+ years proven cybersecurity experience in pre-sales or high-level consulting.
• Deep experience with Canadian Government entities and procurement/security standards.
• Expert knowledge in Cloud/Virtualization security, Data Protection, Network Security (Web Proxy/SD-WAN), or Workload/Container security.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Nice to have

• Significant familiarity with McAfee/FireEye (hirify.global) ecosystems.
