Senior SCADA Integration Engineer (Energy): Developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting monitoring and control systems for Solar, Energy Storage, and Generator Set business with an accent on SCADA and communications systems interfacing with DERs. Focus on designing fleet-level SCADA for ISO/utility market participation and implementing custom microgrid control sequencing.

Location: Onsite five days a week in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, USA. Visa Sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $128,470 – $192,710

What you will do

• Design and engineer SCADA and communications systems to interface with Tangent AMP software and Distributed Energy Resources (DERs).
• Maintain fleet-level SCADA systems for market participation with ISOs such as ISO-NE, PJM, and MISO.
• Implement custom microgrid control sequencing for grid-tied and islanded applications.
• Develop communication diagrams, schematics, and configurations for RTUs (SEL RTAC) and network devices (Cisco, SEL).
• Execute commissioning and testing plans for data validation and control architecture implementation.
• Provide technical support to customers and operations centers, including developing manuals and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Expertise in embedded systems and their applications.
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols: DNP3, Modbus, SEL Protocol, IEC 61850, TCP/IP, and UDP.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Kennett Square, PA.
• Visa Sponsorship is not offered for this role.
• Ability to travel 20-30% as required.

• Strong background in Distributed Energy Resources (DER) and Microgrids.
• Experience in establishing SCADA design standards.
