Salary: $75,000 - $110,000 / year (Denver, Colorado labor market)

What you will do
- Perform detailed design on substation electrical power systems including one-line diagrams, control schematics, SCADA, grounding, equipment selection, and cost estimates.
- Prepare computer-based models and conduct power system studies such as short circuit, load flow, relay coordination, arc flash, and harmonics analysis.
- Develop protective relay settings and prepare project documents like proposals, studies, and schedules.
- Provide field assistance, troubleshooting, and check work of designers and drafters.
- Assist with client communications and meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution (electric power option preferred).
- 1–5 years of relevant engineering or field experience.
- Knowledge and familiarity with substation electrical design.
- FE licensure (PE is a plus).
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

- Experience with AutoCAD.
