What you will do

• Design, test, and install relaying and control systems, specifically using SEL equipment.
• Program and commission SCADA and PLC systems, with a primary focus on SELRTACs.
• Develop configuration files for SCADA protocols including IEC61850 (GOOSE) and DNP3.
• Create detailed electrical designs such as one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and network architecture diagrams.
• Perform field testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting for SCADA and relay systems.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal designers to ensure quality deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 2–5 years of relevant engineering or field experience in power systems.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA and medium/high voltage power systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Ability to travel periodically (15–25%) for field assignments across states.

Nice to have

• FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) licensure.
• Experience with grid-connected or islanded microgrid control operations.
• Experience with substation or data center medium voltage equipment.
