Part-Time Premium Field Auditor (Hybrid)

TL;DR

Part-Time Premium Field Auditor (Hybrid): Conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by auditing policyholders’ records and applying manual rules with an accent on classifications, fraud detection, and regulatory compliance. Focus on scheduling audits, gathering data, traveling to locations, and preparing complete audit reports.

Hybrid (US-based): Home-based with required travel 2-4 days per week within assigned territory. Must have valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and automobile insurance with specified limits.

$45-$48 per billable hour

What you will do

• Conduct premium audits by examining policyholders’ records, applying rules, and determining correct business classifications.
• Prepare audit schedules, identify needed records, and correspond with insured via phone, email, or mail to set appointments.
• Travel to multiple audit locations 2-4 days per week and complete remote audits 2-3 days per week.
• Gather data, write operation descriptions, prepare complete audit documents, explain results to insured, and report to home office.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent plus two years premium auditing experience or equivalent combination highly desired.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial documents.
• General PC knowledge including Microsoft Excel and Word; Visual Audit knowledge a plus.
• Strong communication skills with customers and staff.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and automobile insurance (bodily injury limits ≥$100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident or $300,000 combined).
