TL;DR

Product Experience Builder (Healthcare): Building plugins and capabilities using Canvas SDK and AI-assisted tools to enhance EMR clinician workflows with an accent on rapid iteration, systems design, and experiential coherence. Focus on shipping production-ready solutions that scale from individual customers to ecosystem-wide patterns while driving platform evolution.

Location: Fully remote, San Francisco preferred.

Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 a year

What you will do

• Build and ship production-ready plugins using Canvas SDK, AI tools like Claude Code, and modern tooling; own full cycle from discovery to deployment.
• Drive rapid iteration: deliver functionality to customers, gather usage insights, and continuously improve.
• Design scalable plugins as reusable patterns, ensuring composability in multi-plugin and agent-based workflows.
• Enforce governance for plugin building, deployment, versioning, and coordination.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering to identify gaps and prioritize investments unlocking customer leverage.
• Partner with customer-facing teams to translate field signals into plugin priorities and validate prototypes.

Requirements

• Experience in product management, solutions engineering, or hybrid technical role with track record of shipping solutions.
• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Replit, Cursor) to build functional software independently.
• Systems thinking in technical composability and experiential coherence; strong product and design sense.
• Rapid iteration mindset: ship real solutions quickly with scalability in mind.
• Comfort across technical/non-technical audiences; collaborative with customer-facing teams.
• Healthcare technology background preferred, understanding clinical workflows.

Nice to have

• Hands-on Python or similar.
• FHIR or clinical data standards familiarity.
• Experience building on EMR/health tech platforms.
• Agent-based or multi-step automation workflows.
