TL;DR
Test Engineer - Energy & Utilities (Software Testing): Defining test strategies and executing structured testing for client applications with an accent on test coverage, quality reporting, and release readiness. Focus on analyzing requirements, creating logical and physical test cases, and adapting testing approaches to changing project circumstances.
Location: Belgium; hybrid work with 70% from home. The flex abroad program allows working abroad for up to 45 days.

What you will do
- Define test strategies with project team members and ensure appropriate coverage within time and budget constraints.
- Execute structured software testing and report application quality and associated risks to management.
- Assess application readiness for release based on testing outcomes.
- Analyze requirements, specifications, and user stories to create logical and physical test cases.
- Adapt testing activities to changing project circumstances and proactively resolve blockers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Informatics, Mathematics, or a similar technical field.
- At least 2 years of experience in structured software testing.
- Fluency in Dutch or French and English.
- Strong analytical skills, flexibility, and a quality-focused approach.
- Experience with Jira and Xray and/or test tools such as UFT, Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber.
