QA Engineer

Location: Belgium. Hybrid-first work with remote support where no hirify.global office is nearby or regular office travel is impractical. Semi-frequent travel across Europe and beyond is required.

What you will do

• Define testing scope and plans, execute test cases across features and sprints, and report coverage and product stability for release decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, support, and internal user teams to review requirements and acceptance criteria early.
• Automate acceptance tests using existing frameworks and perform exploratory, regression, and performance testing.
• Investigate bugs, perform root cause analysis, identify quality risks, and document reproducible issues with supporting evidence.
• Promote quality-first practices and review manual and automated test cases with development teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a tester in an Agile development environment.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing, including test planning, design, and execution.
• Strong knowledge of web applications and web service API testing.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebDriverIO, Appium, or JMeter.
• Methodical, curious, detail-oriented approach with strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Excellent English communication skills required.
