Associate Systems Analyst (Healthcare)

TL;DR

Associate Systems Analyst (Healthcare IT): Supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of electronic medical record (EMR) software with an accent on end-user training and system troubleshooting. Location: Hybrid (Morgantown, West Virginia). Must be based in the US and able to travel to WVUHS facilities

What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve IT issues to maintain and optimize EMR system functionality.
• Implement and test system updates and modifications for clinical workflows.
• Provide classroom, one-on-one, and virtual training to inpatient and outpatient providers.
• Develop training curricula and educational materials aligned with organizational workflows.
• Coordinate project planning, schedules, and documentation, acting as a point of contact for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and ensure technical solutions meet operational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR two years of relevant experience.
• Must be based in the USA and available for travel to various West Virginia facilities.
• Proficiency in systems administration and driving efficiency in business operations.
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.
• Experience working within inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.
• Ability to maintain consistent remote communication with the team.

Nice to have

• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to deliver actionable insights.
• Knowledge of cloud-based healthcare applications and web services.
• Relevant industry certifications (target completion within 90 days of hire).
