System Integration Engineer Ld (Epic/HL7)

Location: Fort Worth, TX, United States; Rosedale Office Building. First shift, 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Develop, test, maintain, install, and debug integrated healthcare solutions.
• Build and administer interfaces across Epic Bridges, Corepoint, GoAnywhere MFT, and related technologies.
• Analyze system specifications, perform data mapping, establish interfaces, and modify integration code and routines.
• Design data interchange formats and improve the physical design of interoperability solutions.
• Resolve and escalate integration issues while consulting with application teams, vendors, and customers.
• Document data policies, standards, procedures, and technical requirements.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree required.
• At least 5 years of experience developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and debugging Epic Bridges interfaces.
• At least 5 years of experience with Corepoint or another interface engine.
• Expert knowledge in at least two integration areas, such as HL7, XML, X12, FTP, TCP/IP, APIs, web services, managed file transfer, Epic Interconnect, or MS SQL.
• Ability to analyze complex clinical and business healthcare systems and communicate technical requirements clearly.
• Epic certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire; two test retakes are allowed.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment.
• Experience with clinical or business areas such as Beaker, Willow, Healthy Planet/Tapestry, ERP, OnBase, Patient Access, Ambulatory, Epic Security, Data Courier, or Immunization Administration.
• Additional industry certifications.
