TL;DR

Senior Financial Operations Analyst (Finance): Performing complex financial and operational analysis for Supply Chain fiscal operations with an accent on funding approvals, forecasting, invoice processing, and vendor management. Focus on developing analytical tools, dashboards, and reports to monitor budget performance, identify gaps, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

Location: NYC hybrid (4 days/week)

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional initiatives for fiscal policy compliance and Supply Chain operations.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, financial models, and reports for budget monitoring.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Manage requisitions, PO approvals, invoice processing, and vendor communications.
• Support workflow optimization, ERP analysis, and performance improvements.
• Assist with forecasts, projections, and special projects for the Director of Finance.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
• Experience with Peoplesoft, Oracle, SQL, PowerBI, or similar tools.
• Understanding of procurement processes.
• Strong analytical skills to synthesize data into actionable insights.

Nice to have

• Experience in NYC government finance and procurement.
• Hands-on with Hyperion, Access, PassPort.
