Accounting Analyst

TL;DR

Accounting Analyst (Finance): Providing day-to-day accounting support and assisting with HR and payroll administration with an accent on invoice processing, expense tracking, and financial reconciliations. Focus on analyzing financial data, managing vendor payments, and ensuring compliance across accounting and HR functions.

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite in Mar Vista, CA)

What you will do

• Process and code vendor invoices using Stampli and route them for internal approval.
• Manage HR and payroll administration, including onboarding paperwork and timecard verification for production staff.
• Perform financial data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support strategic planning and FP&A projects.
• Conduct month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain accurate vendor files and employee personnel records to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in accounting, payroll, or HR support.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Mar Vista, CA.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with A/P processes, invoice coding, and credit card transaction management.
• Basic understanding of payroll administration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Stampli or Paylocity software.
• Prior HR exposure, specifically experience verifying I-9 documents.
