Location: On-site at York Hospital, York, Maine (initially; hybrid possible after onboarding). On-call rotation for 24/7 operations required. Local travel may be needed.

Compensation: $50,000 - $52,000

What you will do

• Identify and resolve desktop/laptop hardware problems and perform initial network troubleshooting.
• Proactively handle virus issues and implement preventative measures.
• Assist in new system deployments and software loading.
• Manage and resolve incidents escalated from first-line support.
• Create and maintain support documentation and web resources like FAQs and intranet pages.
• Provide suggestions to improve departmental services.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in desktop support.
• Proficiency with MS Windows, MS Exchange, MS Office, Citrix, Firewall/VPN, MS SQL Server, MS IIS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Customer-focused with ability to work under pressure.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
