User Technician (IT Support)

What you will do

• Provide technical support for remote and local employees to resolve issues related to laptops and phone systems.
• Diagnose and resolve internal inquiries via a ticketing/incident management system.
• Install, configure, and upgrade network printing, directory structures, user access, and security.
• Provision user profiles, environments, access rights, and security settings.
• Maintain asset inventory and assist with hardware/software installation and configuration.
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule and occasional off-hours work.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proficiency with Windows and/or MacOS operating systems.
• Experience with Windows-based servers, Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Domains, and Microsoft Exchange Server.
• Ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware and peripherals.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model in Holmdel, New Jersey.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying and maintaining Windows/MacOS machines.
• Prior experience with laptop hardware installation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with OS and software installation and troubleshooting.
