What you will do

  • Lead NPI master schedulers and planners to manage demand/supply of time-critical materials.
  • Execute build plans, track backorders, shortages, and production schedules.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain for new product releases.
  • Align BOMs and forecasts to secure long-lead materials.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop a team of planners and schedulers.
  • Manage communication with contract manufacturers and monitor KPIs for variances and shortages.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years as Planning Manager in hardware NPI environment, leading from concept to launch.
  • Experience with design processes and phase gate reviews.
  • Must be local to San Jose, CA; flexible for global suppliers and ~10% travel; multiple time zones.
  • Analytical, organized, team player with high urgency and self-driven mindset.
  • Strong communication across stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Rapid Response and Oracle ERP preferred.
