TL;DR

Director Business Development (Medsurg): Recruit new members and drive penetration in long-term care (LTC) and behavioral health (BH) verticals with an accent on developing compelling value propositions and fostering relationships with Strategic Account leaders. Focus on reaching sales goals, delivering presentations on contract portfolio value, and analyzing savings opportunities through purchase reports.

What you will do

  • Reach sales goals by recruiting new LTC/BH members and growing existing accounts (80% focus).
  • Seek market intelligence for new opportunities and deliver presentations on contract portfolio value.
  • Maintain relationships by educating customers on value-added programs and analyzing savings opportunities.
  • Handle administrative tasks including paperwork, expenses, appointments, and attending tradeshows/meetings.

Requirements

  • Significant Medsurg and/or Strategic Account sales experience with client engagement leadership in healthcare or supply chain
  • Executive-level presentation and strong analytic skills; CRM documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods, adapt quickly, pay attention to detail, and communicate effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with day-to-day contact and independent decision-making.

  • Medsurg sales, GPO sales, LTC/BH account management experience.
