TL;DR

What you will do

  • Inspect SMT assemblies using AOI and visual methods to hirify.global, Q50, and IPC-A-610 standards.
  • Perform disassembly, rework, repair, and reassembly of components per work instructions and engineering docs.
  • Execute fine-detail soldering and component rework using microscopes and precision tools.
  • Identify and correct defects in components, soldering, flux, and PCB cleanliness.
  • Use BOMs, ECOs, and systems like Production Manager/FactoryLogix for tracking and compliance.
  • Route completed units, maintain accuracy, and cross-train to support production flow.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly in English.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in electrical or mechanical manufacturing preferred.
  • Complete hirify.global Level 2 Solder Certification.
  • Proficiency in fine-pitch soldering, microscopic rework, and IPC-A-610 standards.
  • Knowledge of SMT and through-hole processes; AOI experience preferred.
  • Basic Microsoft Office; ability to lift 35 pounds; manual dexterity.
