Manufacturing Technician (EUV)

TL;DR

Manufacturing Technician (EUV Source): Build and test sub-systems of the hirify.global EUV Source with an accent on sub-system assembly, optical alignment, functional test, and equipment calibration. Focus on troubleshooting failures, validating manufacturing processes, and recommending changes in design and procedures to enhance product quality.

Location: San Diego, CA, US (onsite, cleanroom environment)

What you will do

• Assemble, install, test, and troubleshoot laser sub-system prototypes using specialized tools like torque wrenches, oscilloscopes, and leak testers.
• Solder small wires under microscope and install electrical connectors to modules.
• Perform optical alignment, functional testing, equipment calibration, and pressurize gas/water systems with Helium.
• Analyze data from functional area databases, run reports, and make recommendations to meet production needs.
• Interface with engineers for special tests, document safety violations, and maintain clean work areas.
• Train others on test processes and troubleshooting as required.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology per US Export Administration Regulations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in technical/scientific field highly desired.
• Minimum 2 years experience (may be less with Bachelor's); strong electrical/electronic background.
• Experience with electronic/pneumatic tools, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and cleanroom protocols preferred.
• Ability to read schematics, troubleshoot complex software-driven systems, and basic math (proportions, percentages).
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of laser systems.
• Familiarity with Hi-Pot testing and alignment instruments.
