What you will do

• Perform precision hand soldering of SMT and through-hole components.
• Build and rework prototype PCBs, including those with fine-pitch components.
• Inspect electronic assemblies to ensure high quality and professional workmanship.
• Manage component inventory and handle parts procurement from suppliers like Digi-Key and Mouser.
• Maintain and organize the electrical engineering lab, equipment, and workspaces.
• Support engineers with quick-turn prototype modifications and basic system builds including cable assembly.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in soldering and electronics assembly.
• Strong proficiency in SMT soldering and PCB rework/repair.
• Familiarity with basic electronic components and standard lab tools.
• High level of organization and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to perform detailed bench work for extended periods.
• Excellent hand stability and visual acuity for working with micro-scale components.

Nice to have

• IPC certifications.
• Experience maintaining professional lab equipment and supplies.
• Background in prototype builds or low-volume production environments.
