What you will do

• Perform complex assembly operations on electronic components and subassemblies for aerospace and defense systems.
• Interpret and follow detailed visual aids, engineering drawings, and written instructions for assembly and rework.
• Hand-load and solder PCB assemblies, including fine-pitch components, following IPC-J-STD and IPC-D-610 standards.
• Identify and repair soldering anomalies using a microscope with lead and lead-free solder.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement best practices and process improvements.
• Participate in offsite training to maintain industry certifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• US citizenship is required for this position.
• 3–5 years of J-STD soldering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Certification to IPC-J-STD and IPC-D-610 standards (or willingness to obtain).
• Working knowledge of ESD prevention and product handling.
• Willingness and ability to travel to Hollister, CA for one month for training at the start of employment.
