What you will do

• Lead IT vendor resourcing and business strategy for cloud, SaaS, hardware, and managed services.
• Partner with BITS and SCM stakeholders to standardize vendor solutions across the research enterprise.
• Negotiate business and contractual terms and manage the full vendor/contract lifecycle, including amendments and renewals.
• Provide financial oversight for IT contracts, assessing sizing and limiting redundancy institute-wide.
• Liaise between SCM and BITS to support financial analysis, cost modeling, and recharge center operations.
• Oversee financial and risk-related quality control for cloud services and hyperscalers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of experience in IT Procurement or IT Sales.
• Deep understanding of various software licensing models (SaaS, concurrent use, consumption-based, etc.).
• Experience with cloud-based and on-premises data center IT infrastructure.
• Must be based in or able to work in Cambridge, MA (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience working with SAP or other major Enterprise Resource Planning software.
• Knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations (OMB Uniform Guidance).
