What you will do

• Obtain blood specimens by performing venipunctures.
• Verify test orders and patient identification against requisition forms.
• Maintain specimen integrity using aseptic techniques and following isolation procedures.
• Track collections and update job statuses and tracking information in Skedulo.
• Manage logistics, including printing patient reports and scheduling courier pickups via FedEx or Medspeed.
• Handle Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with legal regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• National Phlebotomy Certification (required depending on the state of practice).
• Ability to work in a mobile setting in Fairfax, VA.
