MRI Technologist (Part-time)

TL;DR

MRI Technologist (Part-time): Operation of MRI scanner for high-quality whole-body scans with an accent on patient safety, protocol adherence, and image post-processing. Focus on troubleshooting equipment, utilizing PACS software, and training new technologists.

Location: On-site at 2021 Peachtree Rd Ste 100, Atlanta, GA 30309; must be within commuting distance of 45 minutes to Atlanta clinic

Salary: $45-$60 per hour

What you will do

• Operate MRI scanner ensuring patient safety and high-quality hirify.global scans while staying current on protocols
• Prepare scan room, order supplies, clean equipment, and troubleshoot issues
• Perform image post-processing and transfer to PACS, completing all steps
• Use ancillary tools like PACS and other software systems
• Train new technologists in patient safety, room prep, communication, image acquisition, time management, and post-processing

Requirements

• ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) license (or equivalent), BLS certification
• Completion of accredited MRI or radiologic technology program
• At least 2 years clinical MRI experience
• Proficiency in advanced MR studies independently
• Strong MRI imaging knowledge, patient safety, and ability to explain complex terms simply
• Interpersonal skills, multi-disciplinary teamwork, thrive in fast-paced environment

• Leadership experience in training technologists
• Critical assessment of image quality
