What you will do

• Conduct financial analyses of individual, partnership, and corporate debtors to determine asset collectability.
• Prepare detailed reports for FLP AUSAs and staff regarding debt collectability and recommendations for further investigation.
• Draft written discovery, including interrogatories, subpoenas, and requests for production of documents.
• Evaluate results from computerized database searches, SEC records, and public record information.
• Provide ancillary office support functions to the finance department.

Requirements

• 4-year degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of Accounting/Financial Management experience.
• Experience in a Federal Government environment (preferred).
• Proficiency with Excel, Access, and online computer databases.
• Knowledge of debt collection techniques, including garnishment, execution, and appointment of receivers.
• Ability to assess products and procedures for compliance with government standards and accounting principles.
