What you will do

• Direct day-to-day activities and schedule work for the Mechanical Services team to meet production quotas.
• Manage the department's safety, quality, efficiency, and record-keeping processes.
• Coordinate with customers and sales engineers to resolve questions regarding the scope of work.
• Supervise and develop employees, providing necessary cross-training for critical job functions.
• Support Lean Manufacturing activities to reduce waste within the value stream.
• Collaborate with other supervisors to synchronize operations between departments.

Requirements

• Must be based in or work from the office in Neenah, WI, US
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a mechanical shop environment (e.g., paper mill or fab shop).
• 5-10 years of experience in a general supervisory role, including strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Ability to read detailed prints and generate professional engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Working knowledge of formal quality systems such as ISO, QIT, or TQM.
• English language proficiency.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge and experience with Paper Machine Roll Maintenance and Operation.
• Experience with disassembly, repair, and assembly of plain press and suction paper rolls.
• Background in paper mill suction roll, bearing, and journal maintenance.
