Manufacturing Engineer (Composites): Develop manufacturing processes for innovative USVs including infusion, finishing, automation, and assembly with an accent on composites materials, tooling, and lean manufacturing. What you will do

• Develop and implement new manufacturing processes including infusion, finishing, automation, assembly, and flow improvements; create training, SOPs, tools, fixturing.
• Manage project charters, timelines, and collaboration with product engineering for new USV launches.
• Design composite material kits, digital patterns, manufacturing documentation, BOMs, and labor costing.
• Lead safety initiatives, ensure PPE compliance, manage material handling, and participate in safety committee.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs, handle engineering changes, support production issues, and participate in design reviews.

Requirements

• Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 3-5 years manufacturing engineering experience, composites highly preferred.
• CADD skills (Solidworks, Rhino preferred), design of experiments experience.
• Familiarity with OSHA, ISO-lean practices; strong computer skills (Microsoft, ERP).
• Ability to work independently and in teams; excellent communication.
• Physical ability to stand, lift 25 lbs, climb, work in noisy/dusty environments; occasional off-hours.
