What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.
• Partner with the Finance team to optimize close timelines and implement scalable processes.
• Oversee and enhance balance sheet reconciliations using FloQast or similar tools.
• Coordinate Prepared-By-Client (PBC) requests and partner with external auditors.
• Perform account fluctuation analyses and investigate variances.
• Manage and mentor a growing accounting team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of accounting experience, spanning both public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and corporate experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger management.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, including system design or implementation.
• Experience overseeing accounting for manufacturing operations and cost accounting (labor, materials, BOM).
• Must be located in or able to work from Mountain View, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience using FloQast, Blackline, or similar accounting close software.
• Familiarity with transportation, automotive, robotics, or hardware sectors.
