Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 + Equity

What you will do
- Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements and management reports to provide internal insights.
- Lead components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Partner with Finance Systems to implement automation and AI tools to modernize operations and eliminate manual work.
- Maintain a strong internal control environment aligned with SOX standards and identify potential risks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and treasury teams to align on accounting policies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, preparing all necessary schedules and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is preferred.
- 6+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and technical accounting standards.
- Experience in the fintech or technology sector, preferably combined with public accounting.
- Proficiency with ERP software (e.g., NetSuite) and automation tools such as Alteryx, BlackLine, or FloQast.
- Must be based in the United States.
