TL;DR

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day accounting and P2P processes across a multi-entity structure of 10+ legal entities.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles, focusing on aggressively shortening the timeline.
• Handle group consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and FX translation.
• Co-design and document the internal control environment to ensure the company is IPO-ready.
• Manage statutory reporting, local compliance, and tax coordination across all operating jurisdictions.
• Operationalize technical accounting positions under US GAAP (ASC 606, ASC 718) and IFRS.

Requirements

• Proven experience deploying AI, automation, or significant tooling changes within a controllership or accounting function in production.
• Experience working within a multi-entity, multi-currency group, ideally in a pre-IPO or recently public environment.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and make defensible judgment calls in unfamiliar jurisdictions.
• Must be able to spend regular time in one of the company hubs in the US or Europe.

Nice to have

• Direct experience leading Big 4 audit relationships as the company-side principal.
