TL;DR

Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting & Deal Desk (Finance/Adtech): Managing the intersection of commercial growth and financial integrity by overseeing complex, high-value agreements with an accent on revenue recognition compliance and high-value agreement structuring. Focus on applying ASC 606 to complex contracts and maintaining SOX-relevant controls for audit readiness.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Assigned to Menlo Park office or other US regions)

Salary: $142,800 - $231,840 USD (depending on region)

What you will do

  • Act as the primary Controllership decision-maker for non-standard and high-value commercial agreements, including rebates and ad credits.
  • Partner with Sales, GTM, Legal, and Finance to structure deals that balance commercial flexibility with revenue recognition compliance.
  • Own the end-to-end accounting review for revenue transactions, including monthly reconciliations and incentive accruals.
  • Enforce compliance with incentive policies, approval matrices, and SOX-relevant controls.
  • Collaborate with AR teams to ensure operational viability of deal structures, invoicing logic, and settlement mechanics.
  • Proactively improve deal templates and accounting workflows to increase efficiency and audit readiness.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, revenue accounting, or technical accounting.
  • Deep, applied knowledge of ASC 606 for assessing revenue recognition in complex contract structures.
  • Hands-on experience reviewing and concluding on revenue-related journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, and FP&A.
  • Experience supporting SOX controls and responding to internal/external audit requests.
  • Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Big Four accounting experience.
  • Experience in adtech, media, or platform businesses with complex incentive and trading agreement structures.
