What you will do

• Own end-to-end billing operations across regions and products, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
• Define and maintain billing policies and quality controls, creating playbooks for evolving commercial arrangements.
• Drive relentless automation of billing workflows and monitor metrics to eliminate manual work.
• Partner with system and data owners to ensure source-to-invoice integrity meets SOX and internal control requirements.
• Collaborate with GTM, Legal, and Finance to translate contract terms into scalable, automated billing processes.
• Develop SOPs, runbooks, and internal support handbooks to ensure processes are repeatable and auditable.

Requirements

• Strong experience in billing operations, revenue operations, or order-to-cash in fast-paced environments.
• Automation-first mindset with a track record of building scalable solutions instead of manual workarounds.
• Solid understanding of internal controls and SOX requirements.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with GTM, product, and legal teams.
• Must be based in New York, NY (minimum 4 days per week in office).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder alignment.

Nice to have

• Experience in a publicly traded company or a pre-IPO environment.
• Knowledge of international billing, including multi-currency and cross-border invoicing.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools for process automation or data reconciliation.
• Background in adtech, ecommerce, or marketplace billing models.
