Environmental Account Manager (Texas): Selling environmental analytical services to existing and prospective customers, managing client portfolios, and securing business opportunities to meet revenue targets with an accent on building long-term relationships and providing industry-leading technical expertise. Focus on identifying leads, conducting discovery sessions, developing value propositions, and closing deals while liaising between clients, services team, and lab operations.
Location: Remote position for candidates who reside in or are local to Houston, DFW, Austin, Texas. Must be able to travel to clients throughout Texas.
Salary: USD 70,000 - 85,000 yearly

What you will do
- Identify business leads and proactively target prospective customers in the Environmental community.
- Conduct discovery sessions to assess client needs and develop value propositions for services.
- Secure closures on proposals, manage client handovers to Client Services, and build long-term relationships.
- Provide market intelligence, represent at tradeshows, and act as customer advocate internally.
- Use CRM to track sales activities and meet KPI targets while expanding business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental science (Required)
- 3 years in technical sales, project management, or customer service (Required)
- 3 years’ experience in the Environmental Industry (Preferred)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong leadership, self-initiative, critical thinking, advanced reasoning, and mathematical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
