TL;DR

Commercial Sales Manager (Starlink Mobile): Sell Starlink Mobile services, manage customer relationships, and develop new sales opportunities in designated regions with an accent on telecommunications partnerships and global expansion. Location: Based in Hawthorne, CA; requires being onsite – remote work not considered. Must be U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee per ITAR requirements

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000/per year

What you will do

  • Sell Starlink Mobile services and develop new sales opportunities in your region
  • Manage client relationships using professional selling techniques and product knowledge
  • Gather customer requirements and collaborate with product engineering to improve offerings
  • Review business development opportunities and market strategy with executive team
  • Represent SpaceX at conferences, events, and technology panels
  • Adapt to dynamic environment with changing needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or business
  • 5+ years in business development or sales; 3+ years technical sales or telecom industry experience
  • Available for extended hours, weekends, and ~50% travel
  • ITAR: U.S. citizen/national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Nice to have

  • Understanding of satellites, global telecom, NTN/satellite systems
  • MBA or master’s in business/engineering
  • Track record closing complex deals
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, negotiation skills
  • Analytical skills, technical aptitude, detail-oriented
  • Sales training (e.g., Miller Heiman)
  • Multilingual
