AVP, Assistant General Counsel (Healthcare)

Salary: $200,000–$210,000

What you will do

• Provide legal advice and support on Practice operations, transactions, and corporate governance documents.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local practice and business partners to identify and mitigate legal risks.
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including employment and services agreements.
• Negotiate business deals and resolve legal disputes.
• Build and refine internal processes to deliver exceptional legal services across a nationwide organization.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and support responses to audits or litigation.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law and a member in good standing of a state bar.
• J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 6+ years of combined experience in corporate, transactional, or operations law.
• Strong understanding of legal and business factors specific to healthcare services.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for both legal and business contexts.
• Experience in healthcare services is strongly preferred.
