TL;DR

What you will do
- Design and document scalable, secure application architectures across Java, PHP, Drupal, and Power Platform environments.
- Define technical standards, architectural patterns, and best practices for enterprise application development.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and provide hands-on mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
- Architect REST APIs, microservices, and integration patterns between legacy systems and cloud platforms.
- Ensure all solutions comply with organizational security policies, accessibility standards, and governance requirements.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and automated deployment strategies.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development and solution architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, PHP, Drupal, and Microsoft PowerApps.
- Experience designing REST APIs, system integrations, and enterprise application architectures.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and Agile/SAFe methodologies.
- Must be able to work within the Eastern Time Zone (ET) to support government clients.
Nice to have
- Experience working within government or highly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 integrations.
- Certifications such as TOGAF, Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect, or AWS/Azure Architect.
