Salary: $170,500 - $185,000

What you will do

• Design and document scalable, secure application architectures across Java, PHP, Drupal, and Power Platform environments.
• Define technical standards, architectural patterns, and best practices for enterprise application development.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and provide hands-on mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
• Architect REST APIs, microservices, and integration patterns between legacy systems and cloud platforms.
• Ensure all solutions comply with organizational security policies, accessibility standards, and governance requirements.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and automated deployment strategies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development and solution architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, PHP, Drupal, and Microsoft PowerApps.
• Experience designing REST APIs, system integrations, and enterprise application architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Must be able to work within the Eastern Time Zone (ET) to support government clients.

Nice to have

• Experience working within government or highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect, or AWS/Azure Architect.
