Salary: $81,045.75 - $156,000.00

What you will do

• Contribute to the overall K12 architecture vision and strategy through the Architecture Council.
• Define technical direction for platforms, prioritizing security, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and business stakeholders to create sequenced roadmaps for large initiatives.
• Identify and address technical debt while documenting architectural decisions and patterns.
• Provide guidance to engineering teams to ensure implementation remains aligned with the broader ecosystem strategy.
• Encourage innovation through the exploration and prototyping of new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of influencing multi-system architecture.
• 3+ years of experience building solutions on AWS.
• Hands-on proficiency with multiple coding languages, UI frameworks, and database technologies.
• Strong understanding of distributed architecture patterns, SOA, and high-availability systems.
• Must be a resident of the 50 US states or Washington, D.C.
