Location: Hybrid (London, Birmingham, or Edinburgh) — spending at least two days per week (40% of time) at an office site

What you will do

  • Act as a regulatory subject matter expert for CIB, ensuring the effective operation of controls and supporting strong governance.
  • Coordinate the delivery of a CIB-wide regulatory traceability framework, mapping requirements to controls and evidence.
  • Supervise the monitoring and testing of regulatory controls and coordinate the remediation of audit findings.
  • Embed Control by Design principles to simplify and optimise control processes.
  • Triage and assess regulatory change impacts to support the safe implementation of new requirements.

Requirements

  • Significant experience (typically 5+ years) working within CIB or a wholesale/investment banking environment.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) delivering regulatory change and translating requirements into effective controls.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and governance standards within large financial organisations.
  • Experience in identifying control weaknesses and testing control effectiveness.
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, and Product teams.
