What you will do

• Set the standard for end-to-end design quality across AI observability, agent interfaces, and enterprise-grade surfaces.
• Design complex developer workflows, API and SDK experiences, and evaluator journeys.
• Drive the evolution of the design system to be AI-native, embedding AI into component generation and maintenance.
• Establish research practices, insight architecture, and knowledge-sharing rhythms to ground design decisions in evidence.
• Partner with cross-functional leadership to shape product strategy and orchestrate key initiatives.
• Mentor other designers and contribute to the hiring process to elevate the overall craft and quality bar.

Requirements

• Exceptional craft across UI, interaction design, and prototyping for technically complex surfaces.
• Proven track record of building and scaling design systems in a product organization.
• Experience designing for developers and technical users, specifically APIs, SDKs, and console workflows.
• Ability to design for probabilistic systems, handling confidence levels and graceful degradation.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect design work to measurable business outcomes.
• Availability to work in Pacific Time (PT).

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time, latency-sensitive, or multimodal experiences (voice, streaming, conversational AI).
• Background in high-growth B2B companies with both self-serve and enterprise motions.
• Familiarity with AI observability, usage analytics, or API management surfaces.
• Experience leading design system migrations or establishing governance at scale.
