IT Project Manager (DoD)

TL;DR

IT Project Manager (DoD): Managing IT projects and delivering technical solutions for the DoD Business Unit with an accent on stakeholder engagement and business analysis. Focus on coordinating technical developers, implementing AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, and managing Army Records Management functions.

Location: Hybrid (must be on site in Edgewood, MD and/or Aberdeen, MD three times per week)

What you will do

• Serve as the primary liaison between MilTech Solutions and the customer organization.
• Lead a diverse team of technical support personnel and developers.
• Translate business needs into development requirements and coordinate implementation across internal divisions.
• Facilitate customer meetings acting as Scrum Master using Agile methodologies.
• Prepare technical papers, assessments, and status briefings for senior government and military leadership.
• Provide Microsoft SharePoint Online (SPO) support at the Local Site Collection Administrator level.

Requirements

• Active or Current Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, knowledge management, business analysis, or related fields.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint Online (SPO), OneDrive, and Teams.
• Proven experience with information security awareness and practices required by the DoD and/or Army.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot and/or an approved equivalent AI solution.
• Ability to report on site in Edgewood, MD and/or Aberdeen, MD three times per week.
