Project Manager (DoD)

TL;DR

Project Manager (DoD C4ISR): Planning, executing, and delivering complex technical projects for Marine Information Technology and Systems Modernization with an accent on scope management, risk mitigation, and compliance with DoD standards. Focus on coordinating cross-functional teams, monitoring progress against baselines, and ensuring cybersecurity integration in high-stakes Navy and Marine Corps initiatives.

Location: Remote in Summerville, SC (must be able to obtain Secret clearance)

Pay Range: $145,000 - $160,000

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end project management for MITSM initiatives, including scope, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management
• Coordinate cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, cybersecurity analysts, and partners
• Develop project plans, schedules, and documentation while monitoring progress and implementing corrections
• Ensure compliance with DoD policies, cybersecurity requirements, and acquisition guidelines
• Prepare briefings, facilitate meetings, and support contract performance evaluation
• Coordinate testing, deployment, sustainment, and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in technical or managerial discipline
• 10 years experience with C4ISR or similar programs/projects
• 8 years in cloud/software engineering design, production, installation, test & evaluation
• Experience supervising teams, scheduling, proposals, procurement per FAR/DoD policies
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
• Proficiency in project management tools, DoD processes, and stakeholder communication

Nice to have

• PMP, DAWIA/DAU certifications
• Experience with Navy/Marine Corps C4ISR or IT modernization
• Knowledge of NIWC Atlantic processes and Agile/DevSecOps
