What you will do

• Lead engineering execution for mobile apps handling connected device interactions, pairing, syncing, OTA updates, onboarding, and core features.
• Drive transformation with AI-assisted coding, modern tooling, and new practices to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
• Partner with Product Management and UX Design in the digital product triad to align engineering, design, and product goals.
• Collaborate with Hardware Engineering early to influence interaction and connectivity decisions.
• Work with DTC, Marketing, IT, and data teams to build shared frameworks and cohesive experiences across web, app, and channels.
• Set and enforce standards for data architecture, security, scalability, performance, reliability, and testability.
• Attract, develop, and retain top engineering talent.

Requirements

• Experience leading mobile software engineering teams in consumer products with a focus on high-performing culture.
• Hands-on transformation leader with strong views on AI-assisted development.
• Understanding of backend systems, cloud infrastructure (GCP, Firebase), and system design trade-offs.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration across engineering, hardware, design, product, and marketing.
• Expertise in data architecture, security, and scalability from day one.
• Thrives in small, fast teams with high execution standards and accountability.
