What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of 4 engineers, fostering a collaborative and accountable environment.
• Remain hands-on by contributing to design, architecture, and selected parts of the codebase.
• Own the DevTools roadmap as a Product Owner, prioritizing tasks based on business impact.
• Design and build internal platforms and tooling to enhance developer experience and speed.
• Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices, including CI/CD and observability.
• Identify and implement opportunities to introduce AI into development workflows and internal tooling.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from the Madrid or Rotterdam offices (Hybrid).
• Experience leading engineering teams with line management responsibility.
• Strong professional background as a software engineer.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and modern infrastructure (Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, reliability, and observability.
• Ability to balance people leadership, hands-on engineering, and product thinking.
