What you will do

• Lead the user experience direction across hardware and software in partnership with the Product Leadership Team.
• Own the end-to-end experience for physical devices, companion apps, and connected software to ensure coherence at every touchpoint.
• Bridge the gap between Industrial Design and UX, focusing on physical controls, ergonomics, and on-device UI.
• Define and steward design systems to unify interaction patterns and visual language across the ecosystem.
• Integrate AI-assisted design tools and emerging interaction paradigms into the team's workflow and product offerings.
• Collaborate with Hardware Engineering and Product Management to balance experience intent with manufacturing constraints and cost targets.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in consumer UX with a focus on emotionally resonant products.
• Proven track record of designing for both physical hardware and digital software.
• Experience working at the intersection of Industrial Design and UX, including managing handoffs before hardware is locked.
• Ability to build and lead design teams with a high bar for craft, execution, and accountability.
• Strong capability in coalition building across multi-disciplinary teams in complex environments.
• Ability to articulate how AI and emerging technologies impact product experience and business outcomes.
