TL;DR
Lead Product Designer (Product Design/Service Design): Leading complex client engagements across strategy, interaction design, service design, visual craft, and prototyping with an accent on hands-on execution and design quality. Focus on coaching product designers, shaping design standards, representing design in client decisions, and integrating new methods and AI tools into the practice.
Location: Antwerp, Flanders, Belgium; hybrid work from the Antwerp HQ.

What you will do
- Lead complex client engagements by framing ambiguous problems, running workshops, and setting design direction.
- Own end-to-end design on key projects, from research and strategy through interaction design, UI, and prototyping.
- Raise visual, interaction, brand, motion, and overall design quality across delivered work.
- Coach product designers through feedback, fortnightly 1:1s, collaboration, hiring, and onboarding.
- Represent design in client meetings and internal forums while improving collaboration between design, product, and engineering.
- Track new design tools, methods, and the impact of AI, bringing relevant practices into the team.
Requirements
- Extensive experience delivering high-quality product design and defending design decisions.
- Ability to move between strategy and execution, facilitate workshops, and work hands-on in Figma.
- Experience building feedback systems, design rituals, and collaborative team cultures.
- Experience across product design, service design, and strategy is valuable for the role.
- English is the working language.
- Knowledge of design systems, accessibility, and digital sustainability is valuable.

- Dutch for client conversations and internal culture.
- Experience with Rive, Lovable, Framer, or Webflow.
- Curiosity about AI as a design tool.
