What you will do

• Define personalized learning goals with a mentor to align the internship with your education and interests.
• Conduct research on design challenges, translate insights into concepts, and validate prototypes (for graduation internships).
• Contribute directly to ongoing design projects within project teams (for working internships).
• Develop user journeys, interaction flows, wireframes, and prototypes for UX design.
• Create layouts, visual components, and design systems for UI and Visual design.
• Manage the full product design process from initial research to final interface validation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or HBO degree in Design, UX Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Portfolio showing your design work is required.
• Must be able to work on-site in Alkmaar or Amsterdam.
• Strong user-centric mindset and ability to collaborate with developers and product teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with UX research methods or design systems.
• Previous experience collaborating with developers or product teams.
• Experience using AI tools within a design context.
