Location: Must be based in the UK (Remote or hybrid in London/Cardiff)
Salary: circa £110,000 + Incentive Awards

What you will do
- Lead the drafting and negotiation of complex commercial contracts.
- Develop and implement scalable legal processes, including playbooks, precedents, and workflows.
- Drive the intellectual property strategy, managing clearance searches, registrations, and oppositions.
- Act as the internal subject matter expert on AI regulation and contracting for generative AI.
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel and alternative legal service providers to optimize spend.
Requirements
- Around 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Deep expertise in contract law, specifically regarding warranties, indemnities, and liability provisions.
- Experience advising on intellectual property (copyright and trade marks) and generative AI legal issues.
- Knowledge of financial services regulation (material outsourcing, operational resilience) and data protection (DPAs, SCCs).
- Must be based in the UK.
Nice to have
- Experience in private practice, high-growth technology companies, or financial institutions.
- Familiarity with legal technology and contract lifecycle management platforms.
