BD Regional Vice President

TL;DR

BD Regional Vice President (Sales/Insurance): Providing external wholesaling support to distributors in wire house and Independent Broker Dealer market with an accent on achieving aggressive premium growth targets and managing carrier-distributor relationships. Focus on sales, marketing, pending case advocacy, territory sales plans, and substantial overnight travel (minimum 50%).

Location: Remote (Work From Home), candidate must live in designated territory: TX, OK, MT, WY, CO, NM, ID, UT, AZ, WA, OR, NV, CA, AK, HI

Salary: $100,000 base + incentive compensation

What you will do

• Report to National Sales Director and manage select distributor accounts in designated territory.
• Achieve premium growth targets through external wholesaling support.
• Handle all aspects of carrier-distributor relationships including sales, marketing, and pending case advocacy.
• Develop and implement territory sales plans and goals.
• Engage virtually with distributors and travel overnight at least 50%.

Requirements

• Live in the territory (TX, OK, MT, WY, CO, NM, ID, UT, AZ, WA, OR, NV, CA, AK, HI)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Superior sales abilities and relationship-building.
• 3-5 years life insurance wholesaling experience, preferably in broker dealer or wire house.
• Understanding of life insurance products, sales concepts, and case design.
• FINRA Series 6 or 7 and state life/health licenses required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Point-of-sale experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
• CLU, ChFC, or CFP designations.
