What you will do
- Build, mentor, and oversee a team of data engineers, analytics engineers, analysts, and scientists.
- Act as player-coach: architect data models, write production code, and set technical standards.
- Own global data strategy, reporting infrastructure, and analytics stack evolution (Fivetran, dbt, Sigma, Databricks).
- Partner with AI, clinical research, growth marketing, and engineering teams to deliver tailored data solutions.
- Implement data governance, validation, monitoring, privacy standards, and anonymization for clinical data.
- Ensure data integrity, scalability, and reliability through technical collaboration.
Requirements
- 10+ years in data engineering, analytics, or data science, with track record leading teams and building data functions.
- Deep expertise in SQL, data modeling, modern tools (Fivetran, dbt, Databricks, Sigma).
- Exceptional stakeholder management translating technical and business needs.
- Proven data governance in regulated environments, including PHI access controls, audit trails, privacy architectures.
- Forward-thinking AI/LLM use for data workflows balanced with human oversight for accuracy and safety.
- Strategic partnering connecting data to business objectives with product-manager mindset.
- Comfort in fast-paced pioneer environment with bias for action.
