What you will do

• Build, mentor, and oversee a team of data engineers, analytics engineers, analysts, and scientists.
• Act as player-coach: architect data models, write production code, and set technical standards.
• Own global data strategy, reporting infrastructure, and analytics stack evolution (Fivetran, dbt, Sigma, Databricks).
• Partner with AI, clinical research, growth marketing, and engineering teams to deliver tailored data solutions.
• Implement data governance, validation, monitoring, privacy standards, and anonymization for clinical data.
• Ensure data integrity, scalability, and reliability through technical collaboration.

Requirements

• 10+ years in data engineering, analytics, or data science, with track record leading teams and building data functions.
• Deep expertise in SQL, data modeling, modern tools (Fivetran, dbt, Databricks, Sigma).
• Exceptional stakeholder management translating technical and business needs.
• Proven data governance in regulated environments, including PHI access controls, audit trails, privacy architectures.
• Forward-thinking AI/LLM use for data workflows balanced with human oversight for accuracy and safety.
• Strategic partnering connecting data to business objectives with product-manager mindset.
