Business Analyst, Customer Operations (Starlink): Analyzing customer data and translating it into reporting, recommendations, and tooling to improve customer experience and internal operations with an accent on data-driven decision making and operational efficiency. Focus on developing SQL-based analyses, building department-level dashboards, and automating business risk mitigation.
Location: Bastrop, TX. Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident (green card holder), refugee, or asylee to conform to U.S. Government export regulations (ITAR).

What you will do
- Conduct SQL-based analyses to identify customer issues and provide actionable recommendations to change outcomes.
- Define and develop department-level metrics and dashboards to quantify operational health and influence change.
- Develop automation to mitigate business risks and create efficiencies within Starlink Customer Operations.
- Own data integrity, tool maintenance, and reporting quality for the Customer Operations team.
- Collaborate with software development teams to improve data capture and identify front-end requirements.
- Support new market launches and cross-functional strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2+ years of experience in reporting and analytics within customer operations, supply chain, or consulting.
- 1+ years of experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizenship or permanent residency).
Nice to have
- Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or R.
- Advanced understanding of database structures, query optimization, and ETL development.
- Experience in high-growth, fast-paced startup or consulting environments.
- Experience with customer operations tools such as ticketing and account management systems.
